I would like to tell you a little about me. I believe it is very important to know who you are buying a kitten from. As a child I have always loved kittens and cats. In our house we always had kittens and I would find names for each and every one. I would spend hours playing with them. As a child they always gave me comfort and joy. The hardest part for me was saying good-bye as they went to their new homes.
As an adult I always desire to breed Persians, but my dream became a reality in 2010. In 2010 I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer, it was in my bones and in every organ. The outcome did not look that good. I had just gotten a new kitten and the comfort the kitten gave me during the chemo and radiation was when I realized how important a cat is. It was then that I knew I had a purpose to bless others with wonderful cats. Today, I am happy to say I am cancer free, and I do give God all the Praise and all the Glory.
Shortly after I started breeding my sister who lived in the same town as I do, was diagnosed with lung cancer. I was cancer free and cancer striked our family agian. It was hard to believe. She had fallen in love with one of the kittens so I gave her one as a gift. Her cancer continued to spread and it was devastating to me and her family. As I watch my stong sister that had been by my side when I had cancer subcomb to cancer, the tears would fall down my face. She said "Yea, I want you to know that the gift of Duckie, (the kitten) was the best gift anyone has ever given me." Duckie never left my sister side, even when Hospice came, they had on the white board the cat stays with the patient. Duckie stayed on her bed during the course of her cancer. It was very sad for "Duckie " her cat when my sister went to heaven. One of her daughters ended up taking Duckie and to them Duckie is a reminder of the joy their mom was when she was here with them.
This experience made my purpose for breeding more important. Kittens bring joy to people, they are companions, and loyal. They are faithful, and easy to take care of. I can go on and on about the importance of a cat, but to those that are already blessed with a cat, you already know the happiness they bring.
So first and foremost I am a cat owner, and then a Persian Cat breeder, I am here to help produce quality kittens for quality people.
